Direct sow when soil has warmed. Cover with 1/2" soil. Transplant: Seed in trays 8 weeks bf last frost. Seeds will germinate in 7 days at 70-75 °F. Spacing at planting: 9"
Do not allow plants to become root bound and avoid disturbing roots. Pinch off half of the plant as the stem when 8 inches tall. This will initiate the development of multiple stems which will then increase your yield.
