This job is focused on creating, packing and shipping high quality flowers in our flower studio. This is a lead role requiring orchestration of incoming and outgoing flowers and collaboration with management and field crew. This role requires good time management, attention to detail and adaptability. It is predominately in the studio and requires you to be on your feet all day.

34-40 hrs a week. Imperative work days are Monday through Friday. No weekend work. There will be days of possible overtime. Over 40 hr weeks are rare in this position, but if it occurs, we pay time and a half for anything over 40 hrs.

This is a seasonal position.

Floral Studio Lead will accomplish the following:

• Helping to maintain quality control for all flowers to be sold
• Organize and maintain flower inventory
• Managing packing and shipping process
• Bunching flowers and managing crew bunching
• Packing flower shipments with studio team
• Coordinating prep for crew for flower bunching
• Helping maintain organization of the floral studio and cooler
• Helping maintain inventory levels for supplies 
• Helping to maintain a clean and efficient floral studio
• Occasional helping out other teams or tasks outside of studio
• Supplying flowers for the Farm Store and helping to maintain the store

What this job is NOT:

• Floral design. We only do bouquets 2 times a year. Our focus is high quality bundles by variety, shipped directly to customers.
• Field hand. You might cut flowers on occasion, but it is not a large portion of the job. You may also work on group field projects from time to time but this position is mainly for inside studio work.
• Internship. Though there will be plenty learned on the job about flowers, farming, and how to effectively run a business, this is a paid job for someone with real work experience.
• Laid back. Though everyone out here is incredibly friendly, respectful, and drama free, it is a high paced work flow with specific deadlines each day, so time management and the ability to hustle while maintaining a good attitude is a must.
