Lavender
Please follow the steps below to best care for your fresh cut and dried lavender
Our Fresh Lavender:
What to Expect Upon Arrival:
Our Lavender will arrive open and ready for you to enjoy. We grow our lavender using organic methods so feel free to use it in your baking, cocktails, aromatherapy or anything else that inspires you.
Important Steps for Making Your Cut Lavender Last:
-
You can enjoy your fresh Lavender for about a week in the vase then it's time to dry them out!
-
You can simply allow the water to run out in the vase and the Lavender will begin to dry out naturally. Drying this way tends to give the stems a bit of a natural curve.
-
For straighter stems, bind the stems tightly with a rubber band and hang your Lavender upside down in a well-ventilated area.
-
The drying process will take about 1-2 weeks then you are free to use it in incense, sachets, baths, cooking or whatever your heart desires!
Our Dried Lavender:
Some Lavender buds will likely get knocked off in transport due to their delicate, dried nature. Don't waste these buds! Collect these from your box and use them to make sachets for drawers or throw them on the floor before you vacuum to make your room smell like a lavender field!
Since our lavender is naturally preserved in our beloved flower shack using only darkness and lots of airflow you don't have to worry about any gross chemicals on these beauties! That means it is safe to use our lavender in baths, lotions, baking, cocktails, and more!
