These lacy umbel shaped white flowers are stunning in bouquets and wedding work . They resemble the roadside Queen Anne’s Lace, though Queen Anne’s has a caustic sap that can cause burns and this delightful Ammi is harmless. Towering 5-7 ft tall, they make a lovely addition to garden plots as well as a good cut flower option.
Approximately 300 seeds per packet.
Direct sow in the fall in warmer climates or early Spring. Cover lightly with soil as light is needed for germination. Seeds will germinate in 12-18 days at 68°-75°F. Thin to 9″ apart. Best to wear gloves when harvesting as sap can burn skin. Full sun.
