The boxes will be a mix but we promise you some beautiful blooms that will brighten your week !! We encourage you to clip some foliages from your yard to add to them mix for extra sweetnees. Get craaaazyyy!!
Your box of flowers will be shipped this Monday – Thursday, in the order they are received, with overnight delivery. If you are expecting freezing weather, this may not be the option for you. We will be shipping with an ice pack to keep flowers fresh however we will not be protecting them from freezing temperatures. PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT SHIP TO CALIFORNIA !! ( agriculture laws) .**** IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHIP TO DIFFERENT ADDRESSES, YOU WILL NEED TO PLACE SEPERATE ORDERS. Unfort, bc we are very short staffed (aka just Steve) we are unable to include a gift card with these orders at this time. We suggest you dropping a card in the mail to the recipient letting them know you have flowers on the way to them. Once you receive your flowers, recut the stems and allow them to rehydrate for a few hours before arranging.
Your poppies will come mostly closed; however, once you recut their stems and tuck them into your warm house, they should pop right open. This may be the same with your tulips, ranunculus, and daffodils. If your poppies do not open within a day, feel free to carefully peel off that cute, little fuzzy green protective layer from the base of the stem to free the petals. Stick in your vase and they will open right up. We ship them at this stage to avoid petal damage so they arrive in perfect condition for you. We will also be tucking an extra bloom or two in to each order just in case one gets damaged in shipping.
When you recut your daffodils after receiving them, stick them in a vase with water all to their self for a few hours. This will get their slimy stem goo all cleaned up so they will not clog the stems of your other flowers:) After they sit in water for a few hours, they will be all ready to add to your other blooms. This process just insures that your other flowers do not have a decreased vase life.
Again, we could never thank y’all enough for your support !! We feel like we are the luckiest farmers in world for having such a caring, understanding, and loyal customer in each of you !!
All our love, Mandy + Steve
